What is DRM?
DRM (Digital Right Management) is the collection of methods used to control, monitor, describe and trade the copyrights held over a digital work. It is wider then simple copyright protection. For example it includes a way of billing when people access an online movie. Other examples of DRM include the protection on iTune MP3’s, solution against theft of company files and protection of medical records.
