DRM to boast copyright music sales

In a recent study published by RNCOS, ”Digital Rights Management-An Industry Outlook (2005-2008)” analysts expect that the legal copyright music industry will flurish during the next years. In the US and Europe, the size of the DRM enabled online music market was expected to reach a revenue earning of about $2.18 billion in 2008 from $275 million in 2004. In Western Europe alone the online music market is expected to grow to $656 million in 2008 from $124 million in 2005, the growth being five times in the next three years.
