Pledge to never buy a DRMed CD ever

DRM severely restricts our rights as users, creators, and members of the global community. We will not stand by and let fair use grow extinct as a consequence of poorly thought out technology and the laws that support it.
I’m sorry but I will not do that. DRM is not the root of evil, if it is implemented right, it can be the solution for copyright protection of f.e. copyright tracks. It has numerous possibilities suchs as renting music. I agree that DRM is to restricting at the moment and that a global standard should be developed, but doing a pledge never to buy DRM cd’s is a bit to far going except if you take into account that CD’s will almost be out of the world in 2 years
